Yes, I packed four sermons into one (bad, bad) and still didn't finish the point. Find out why the Garden of Eden story is so crucial to understanding scripture, what the end time is really about, when eternal life happens, and what it is not.

(Golf image explained in sermon.)

We returned to Isaiah 65's vision of a new heaven and a new earth on which I preached in July. It aptly describes an early vision of the fulfillment of God's will in reuniting heaven and earth, what had been separated since the Garden of Eden.

Overcoming and reconciling this division between heaven and earth is ultimately what all of scripture is about. Most importantly, the location of this fulfillment needs to be reckoned with.

In 1 Thessalonians 4, Paul addresses the concern of those believers who are wondering if those who die before Jesus returns at the fulfillment are lost. Paul expected Jesus at any time, sure that all things mortal would come to an end soon. Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection made that crystal clear.

So what about eternal life? What about God's "Days Inn"? Find out in the sermon video below and note the downloads available below the video panel.
